Best of the Midwest-Hebron, IN 9/28-9/30. The closest hotel we could get with enough doubles and non-smoking rooms is in Manteno, IL. It is approximately 33 miles east to the fields. The hotel is located at 380 S. Cypress St. in Manteno and their phone number is 815-468-2600. We have 15(I think the Moe’s have a room with the U17 team) non-smoking doubles available in our block. Rooms are $89.95 per night. The hotel has an indoor pool, laundry facilities, and complimentary breakfast that includes pancakes, french toast, assorted pastries, sausage, make your omlettes, etc.

Veteran’s Invitational-Evansville, IN 11/9-11/11. We have 16 non-smoking doubles reserved at the Fairfield Inn located at 7879 Eagle Crest Boulevard in Evansville. Their phone number is 812-471-7000. Rooms must be booked by October 26th or the remaining rooms will be released from the block. The rate is $99 per night. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, laundry facilities, and an outdoor pool (sorry girls). I was told by the manager that the closest fields are about 5 minutes away and the furthest ones are about 15 minutes away. He also said there is a small meeting room that would be available if we needed a place to meet, eat or whatever.**** If you will not be reserving a room in Manteno, please e-mail as soon as possible because the U12/13 boys team needs a couple additional rooms.

 Team attitude/playing time, etc.:

 I want all of the kids to make every effort to attend each training session.  If you can’t make it, COMMUNICATE with me. I ask that I know two hours before training sessions and 2 weeks prior to  tournaments so I can get guest players. We will all have conflicts  with practice during the season and some of our girls play multiple  sports so understand that before we play in games/tournaments. I will try to be flexible and would ask that you would support my decisions  for playing time, etc. I have asked for the 24 hour rule when talking  about PT as I will not address your concerns following a game on the same day.
