U15/16 Boys Classic Assistant Coach and U17/18 Boys Classic Head Coach
Background:
Henry began playing soccer at a very young age. He first played
competitively at age 5 at the park district level in his hometown, Waukegan,
Illinois. Between ages 8-11 he played on the Waukegan traveling team. After
that he spent two years playing club soccer for Trebol F.C. In high school he played all
4 years, and was a starter on the varsity team his senior year.
Henry currently attends
the University of Illinois and is majoring in Broadcast
Journalism. He began coaching his freshmen year in college when he
volunteer coached with
the girls at University High School. In the fall of 2005 he was the
head
coach of the junior varsity boys team at Uni High and in 2006 he
returned as a
volunteer coach at Uni High. In the fall of 2007, Henry was the Ass't.
Coach at Uni High as well as the GK coach.
His experience with the LISC began in the Spring of 2007 where he was
the assistant
coach for the U16/17 boys classic team. Henry is currently the
Ass't. Coach of the U15/16 boys classic team, and the head coach of the
U17/18
boys classic team. He holds the USSF "E" License and the NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma.
