Sporting background: J. Moore was on the North
Eastern Oklahoma A & M Junior College’s track team (pole
vault) and wrestling team. At University of Mississippi,
J. was player-coach for 2 years on the “A” side rugby
team. He played men’s club side rugby for various teams,
including Boca Raton, Florida and U. S. Virgin Islands select side. He
is still active in the University of Mississippi, Ole Miss Ole
boys where he was MVP in 2002.
Coaching background: J. Moore began
coaching recreational soccer in 2000. He coached the Charleston
Panther Soccer Club U10 Boys in Spring 2004. He was a board
member of the Panther Soccer Club of Charleston before moving to
Mahomet. He started coaching for LISC as an assistant coach for U10
Boys in spring 2005. Currently, he coaches the U13 boys team for
LISC. J. is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association
of America and holds the NSCAA Regional, Advanced Regional, and National Diplomas, the
NSCAA National Youth Diploma, and a USSF National "D” license.
Family: J. Moore has been married for 12 years
and is the proud father of an 11-year-old boy LISC soccer player
and 5-year-old triplets (1 boy & 2 girls), soon to be LISC
soccer players.
Coaching Philosophy: As a coach,
J. believes that player development, respect, and personal growth
on and off of the field becomes paramount. J. believes in
working with each player to reach their full potential. He
wants each player to look back on the LISC soccer experience as
something they know was worth working for as an individual and
as a team member.
