Application to Host

The Orange and Blue Fall Cup Tournament is hosted by LISC annually in early October. This is the principle fund-raiser for the Club. The Fall Cup is a two-day event. (Sat. and Sun.) The games are held at the University of Illinois fields on Florida and Lincoln (10 fields) and 1st and Stadium (4 lighted fields).  The funds raised by the tournament are placed in an interest account for future development of the Club. Our tournament is considered one of the premier tournaments in the Mid-west. The tournament brings over 100 teams to the area from several states. This is a prestigious event. The Fall Cup brings about 4000 people to the Champaign-Urbana area. The members of LISC should be very proud to host this event and dedicate their time. Parents of LISC players are required to volunteer 6 hours for this event (see job descriptions for details).  A committee of volunteers is organized to attend monthly or possible more frequent meetings to plan the event. This committee should consist of a volunteer member from each team and the Fall Cup coordinators (selected by the Director of the Fall Cup) and two sub-committees: publicity and programs/sponsorship
