Little Illini Soccer Club Board Meeting

Board members in attendance: Ron Walton, Mike Wilson, Cathy Moe, Adam Jenkins, Mike Kobylinski, Joan Wingo, Cathy Baird, Derek Vannice,
The meeting was called to order at 8:07 by Board President Ron Walton.
A motion to approve to the May 31 meeting minutes was made by Derek, and seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Ron gave his President’s report, which included information about the Sports Commission, and their desire to work with us in promoting the LISC Fall Cup. He also discussed some possible facility projects that are in the initial stages by several local groups.
Mike Kobylinski gave his DOC report.
Cathy Moe and Mike Kobylinski presented an updated version of the LISC Policy Manual. While not completely finished, it was moved to accept and approve the Policy Manual by Derek. The motion was seconded, and passed by a 7-1 vote.
Adam Jenkins and Cathy Baird were appointed to serve as the board representatives on the scholarship committee.
Mike Wilson and Mike Kobylinski were appointed to organize the upcoming fall registration nights, to be held on July 19, in Champaign, and July 27 in Urbana.
Joan Wingo asked that a LISC calendar be developed so that everyone would know when club activities take place and who should be coordinating them. Mike Wilson and Joan were appointed to coordinate the calendar.
The next regular meeting of the board was scheduled for Sept. 21 at 8:00 pm, at the Savoy Rec Center.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:01.
